Other programs and activities:

Several groups and programs are available through our community Church.  These would include:

Alice Powell Circle - An important group of ladies that provide much of the needed support for church activities.  They provide fund raising, special events, and much needed help to a growing church.

Circle of Friends - A group that meet once a month for breakfast or lunch to enjoy a time of Fellowship.

Church Ministries - These groups consist of individual teams of people to participate in support and church needs.  These ministries include the Crisis, Homebound, Outreach, and Hospital Teams. 

The Crisis Team provide support to families during the death of a loved one.  First Baptist will deliver paper products like plates, cups, napkins, etc. to the family.  The team member  check on other needs of the family at this time.
The Homebound Team makes it their business to visit of members, friends, and guests that cannot attend due to some ailment.  They can provide support and video copies of the 11:00 worship service.
The Outreach Team makes contact with guests, visitors, or potential new members who would like more information  about our church.
The Hospital Team will visit our members and guests when they are in the hospital.

Church Committees - There are numerous committees that help in our Church needs.  Deacons, Trustees, Stewardship, Children, Sunday School programs, and Audio/Video Taping are just a few of the available opportunities.

Special Events -

LORDS SUPPER: The Lords Supper ceremony is held the first Sunday of each month.

FAMILY FUN DAY:  This is a program where families can come and enjoy the day with outdoor games, food, and fun.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: An annual event for youth that you will not want to miss

REVIVAL: A special week of nightly programs to provide inspiration and renewal of Faith.

MONTHLY SUNDAY POTLUCK - The second Sunday of each month at 12:00 noon is set aside for a pot luck meal.  All are welcome.  After the meal, First Baptist will hold the monthly business meeting to discuss various church finances, needs, and programs.
