Wednesday Activities Wednesday is a special day at New Castle First Baptist. At 9:00 am, an adult Bible Study is held. This study covers various aspects of both the old and new testaments. Beginning at 5:50 pm (during the school year), we have a meal brought to our Fellowship Hall. Individuals pay the minimal cost of $3.00 for their meal and enjoy a time of Fellowship with friends and neighbors. In an effort to help the busy schedules of parents, we have the catered meal which allows families to come and eat and then participate in the evening activities. Beginning at 6:15 pm (during the school year), the POWER BUILDERS and YOUTH II programs begin. Youth are important to us. Both of these youth programs last approximately 1 hour. POWER BUILDERS is a program from youngsters from age 4 or kindergarten to 4th grade. This program consists of a variety of educational and fun activities for the youth. YOUTH II is a program for youngsters from 5th grade through the 8th grade. This program also consists of a variety of educational and fun activities. Also at 6:30, we have an Adult Study. A variety of topics are covered including current events, published literature, and Bible Study. The current study centers around the Gospel of Mark. At 7:30, the PRAISE TEAM will hold practice to prepare for the coming Sunday's musical participation. |
